I am a longtime vegan and animal lover who is passionate about the care of children and pets alike. While I do not have secondary education in the area of childhood education, I do have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and I attained minors in Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy. The combination of these areas of study provided me with vast learning on human behavior and development as it pertains to adults and also children. I took four years of Early Childhood Education classes as electives in high school, and had the opportunity to work in the WAHS daycare during that time. I am experienced in creating learning plans and creative activities for children under the age of 5, and I have tutored in every subject from elementary to high school. I have babysat for friends and family for nearly 20 years, and feel comfortable caring for infants and children of any age, and also for furry friends of all sizes! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, all of whom are rescue animals. Due to my own fur babies, I am unable to provide pet care in my home, but love to petsit any pets in their homes! My pricing is negotiable, and will vary based on distance to your home, number of pets, and any special medications or other requests.
