My name is Allison Hurley and I am a senior education major at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, where I also am on an NCAA lacrosse scholarship. Through my studies as an education major, I have gained valuable knowledge about interacting with children that I have applied to in my work as a babysitter. I have over 75 hours of student teaching experience where I have observed and taught different lessons at each grade level. I also have 20 hours volunteering at crisis nursery, which is a temporary overnight childcare service for children who need relief from different crisis situations. I am CPR certified as well as an up to date background check. I have had pets growing up my entire life. I have dog sat and cat sat for weeks at a time while families are on vacation. My experience as a babysitter goes back 8 years working with different families of different aged children, as well as different living situations.
