I am passionate about work performed on a volunteer basis for a variety of local animal aid organizations.  Additionally, I am equally passionate about setting the pet canine up for success and having them be intergrated into the home enviornment as smoothly and as reasonably as it is possible.  My years spent  training canines has been in both shelter and class room settings.  I have volunteered for “Project Pooch”, “Greyhound Pets of America-Northwest Chapter”;-(Greyhound Pet Adoption Team-Northwest), “Fences For Fido”, and “The Oregon Humaine Society”. My training methods used involve positive reinforcement training techniques and tools. I hold certification in basic obedience training for canines through “Animal Behavior College” Northridge, California. (CPDT). Separately, I hold canine First-Aid and CPR coursework hours through “The American Red Cross”- Oregon Trails Chapter.
