I've volunteered at the Hawaii humane society. I bathe and fed the dogs there and also cleaned their kennel. When I was allowed, I often socialized with the animals to maybe hopefully make their day a little bit better.

Since then, I’ve have been dog mom to three amazing dogs. My late dog was a retired sled who was not acclimated to pet life so I am very familiar with nervous and anxious dogs. He also had a heart condition that I took special care of from his adoption to the end of his life. I am experienced with medication, monitoring, and seniors dogs. One current girls is another retired sled dog who is a Husky so stimulation and energy is very important with her. Another one of my girls is a working breed that I’ve raised from a 12 weeks so puppy care is another aspect that I am very experienced in, including training.

I have volunteered with Kimber and her WagginTails Search and Rescue so I am also experienced in runaway, escaped, and lost dogs. I know the precautions to take so that a mistake will not lead to such an event but I can also provide the help retrieval. Two of my dogs had been lost by sitters and I was able to track, trap, and retrieve both in the case of an emergency.

Unfortunately, I do not have any special license in pet care and I do have my own transportation.
