Hi there,

My name is Rebecca and I am a huge pet fan. I've grown up with pets my whole life. I had a split family and between two houses, we've usually had one to three small dogs and two cats along with some fish. I had always wanted my own to care for, so at a younge age, about twelve, I found my first pup - a Maltese female - to call mine. Even at a young age I took responsibility in training my first dog (Lily) and completed all the necessary caring for her. When I decided to move to Portland from the Chicago suburbs Lily came with me and is still thriving at nine years old.
I have been a full time Nanny for the past couple years now, and most of the time there is a furry companion to care for along with the little ones. My first full time Nanny position allowed me to care for three children along with three large dogs; what an adventure! I have also helped bring home, care for, and train a golden retriever puppy, let me tell you about the immense energy from this guy! I was also a live in Nanny for a family during the summer of 2014. This family had to dachshunds and a sassy cat. I really enjoy both caring for and playing with animals, to get paid for it is really the best of both world's.
I am comfortable taking pets on walks and to parks. I have experience and feel comfortable administering medications, including diabetic shots. I am also able to help with training, and have experience with clicker training - I find this to be one of the best methods of training.
