I've had pets pretty consistently since I was 7 years old. I love all animals, but my experience is with cats and dogs (in that order). I have only had cats as pets, but I adapt well and love dogs just as much. I cared for a friend's four dogs (three Corgis and one Kuvazs) and one cat, over a three day period. I was responsible for assisting in feeding time, putting them to bed in their kennels and keeping them company. I have also volunteered at an animal hospital where I was responsible for keeping their cages clean, refilling their water dishes and grooming on occasion. I also kept the hospital tidy by sweeping and wiping down surfaces after animals were examined. In addition, I help care for my sister's dogs on occasion (one Husky and two chocolate Labs).
