I have never been at a point in my life where I did not have a pet! Since I was a baby, I was raised around cats, and even helped deliver baby kittens quite a few times. I've had lizards, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, ducks, and horses! I'm currently a proud pet mom of two kitties and one senior dog. My first kitty is an 8 year old tuxedo male, who I found on craigslist in some very awful conditions. My second kitty is a 3 year old orange tabby, I rescued from the street. My old puppy dog is a 13 year old black lab that I've had since I was seven years old.

I have pet-sat for many of my friends and family when they've gone on vacations or weekend trips. During this time, I would go to my friends homes, feed, bathe, walk, and care for their animals many times throughout the day. I would dedicate time to sit and play with their animals and make sure they weren't lonely or scared. I cleaned up any messes that were made and gave my friends and family updates and pictures.

During high school I also volunteered at T-Town TNR, where our goal was to minimize the amount of cats being born on the streets. Our job was to find wild cat populations throughout Tulsa, trap them as carefully as we could, and bring them to the veterinarian office where they would spay and neuter them. After letting them heal, we would then release them back out. I eventually had to leave because I could not stop falling in love with every kitty! I kept so many to foster and find homes.
