I have grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I currently have 4 cats who keep me on my toes and each have their own personality. From the alpha calico (Gypsy) who chews on everything to the sweet orange tabby (Jewell) who just wants love. Leo loves his bird TV and has a bit of a drooling problem. Lulu is a bit clumsy but never lets that deter her from getting somewhere and is the sweetest too.

I understand the importance of playtime since Gypsy destroys more items when I don't play with her. I also understand how difficult it can be to find the right food that works for multiple cats, especially when Lulu has IBD. Cats need lots of attention, though each needs it in their own way. I have developed a pretty good sense of when to approach a cat and when to give them space. I like to let cats determine when they are ready to be approached or pet. It's just better for all involved. But I can also be patient and wait until even the shyest cat is ready to give me a chance, and I find great satisfaction when they finally decide to trust me.
