First and foremost, I am a huge animal lover. I decided to became a vegetarian when I was a child because of that love. My Dad use to rescue animals and bring them home for my mom and I to care for. We have taken care of ducks, turtles, wild birds, cats and even a rooster!  I have had cats in my life since I was a child. I currently have two kitties and an Australian shepherd named Sophie who is 14 yrs. old. I have also cared for family and friend's furry friends when needed for vacations, etc. I am currently looking to volunteer at my local animal shelter.
