My love for pets stems from a deep appreciation for their companionship, loyalty, and the joy they bring to my life. Working with animals allows me to make a meaningful difference in their well-being, whether through grooming, care, or medical support.
As a kennel assistant, I gained hands-on experience in animal care, ensuring pets were safe, clean, and comfortable. I managed feeding schedules, administered medications, participated in playtime, and maintained a clean environment. My time as a dog groomer allowed me to enhance pets' health and appearance while building trust with both animals and their owners.
Additionally, I spent some time in college for veterinary technology which gave me valuable knowledge about animal health, medical procedures, and proper handling techniques. This education, combined with my practical experience, has strengthened my ability to care for pets professionally and compassionately.
I have also cared for my own dogs throughout my life. I currently have a Bichon/Maltese mix named Layla whos 14 years of age. Shes my baby for sure!! I call her my shadow!! My passion for animals continues to drive my commitment to their well-being in every aspect of my work.
