Hello! My name is Yashika and I'm 23 years old trying to pursue a career in being a veterinary assistant. I have experience in pet handling at internships I've been to in the vet assistant course. I have a bird at home. I have taken care of cats at petco as a volunteer worker. I worked there for about a year, feeding them, taking them out to play, and cleaning their cages. I became a caregiver because I like helping those who can't help themselves. I love my job because I feel useful and all around I love being around animals in general. I love being around animals because I think animals are a great stress relief and are very good to be around especially when it comes down to mental health. They make me happy, calm, and feel very comfortable to be around and they make great friends to play with as well.
