Hello Parents,  
     I was raised in Westchester, NY,I am the oldest of three and have strived to be a role model for my younger sisters. That is one thing that I have taken very seriously growing up which at times can be very rewarding and also a great burden. I am also fluent in Spanish.
     At home I have somewhat of a zoo. I have many pets and although taking care of them can be difficult I can't get enough of them.
     I am a very positive person and I try to "see the light" in every situation. My babysittting methods include rewards for good deeds such as going to park after doing homework, or watching a movie. Most of my experience is with children from 4-8 years old. I don't use "baby-talk" I have come to learn that if you speak to a child calmly like you would an adult the children are more likely to respect me and learn lessons faster and I use time-outs for reprimanding. Although I don't mind light house cleaning I try to get the children involved to teach that if they clean up after themselves there's less mess for everyone to clean up.
