I’ve lived in Syracuse my whole life, I grew up around lots of different animals. Personally I’ve taken care of a chihuahua my whole life and a few cats (also rabbits, and smaller rodents). I have house sat for my friends and their bigger dogs at points when they were on vacation. Taking them for walks, and daily feedings, cleaning litter boxes, making sure they were comfortable and relaxed until their owners were home. I’ve also had to “baby”sit/ and foster a few of my own disabled animals so i am very willing to adapt to a situation. I work overnights so I am usually free anytime from 8am until 5pm. I’ve always wanted to work with animals but at this moment I haven’t gone down that career path I hope this can help be a step towards that.
