I am an animal lover. I used to have a Golden Retriever who was my baby. Sadly, I lost her to old age a few years ago. Now that my family is taking care of my aging grandma with Alzheimer's we keep the fur family to the one and only sweet Tigey. She is grandma's cat and the sweetest cat I've ever known. If I could I would take in every stray and adopt every sheltered animal I could. This just isn't realistic.
So, they say you should do what you love. I work in a bank right now and let's just say what I love to do is take care of animals.
I do have some experience pet sitting. I started doing it for neighbors when they were away. I would check in on their dogs a few times a day and make sure they had food and water. We'd go outside and play. I've taken care of a family's 2 dogs at thier home while they were away for the weekend. I've also sat for my sister's 2 dogs and another sister's 2 cats. All the dogs got walks at least once a day and all the animals get lots of praise and affection too.
