I’m not just looking for a job, but some opportunities to spend some time doing what I love, which is taking care of and just being around animals. I'm from a dog loving family, I’ve lived my whole life around them. We have 2 black labs that we’ve trained as hunting dogs, but I have moved out of the family home and have none in my new house. Honestly after moving out of my parent’s house I just really miss being around animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I bought my own fish in elementary school. I worked at a stable from middle through high school in exchange for riding lessons where I cleaned stables, filled up water, fed horses and livestock, and washed and brushed them. I volunteered at the humane society when I was a Girl Scout as well as worked for a year at a kennel/boarding facility where I took care of many different breeds and sizes of dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve also taken care of turtles, tortoises, and rabbits. I’m a very detailed person and time oriented so you’ll never have to worry about me being late or forgetting anything. One of my family pets is older so we watch her food intake closely and make sure she is not exercised too hard while the other is one year old and is very energetic; so you won’t have to worry about your pet being fed too much or at the wrong time, or getting too much/not enough exercise. I believe pets improve quality of life as well as mental health so if I’m taking care of your pets they will be the most important thing to me within that time period because they are helping me as much as I’ll be helping them.
