Hello, My name is Michelle C. I am currently 20 years old and a college student in John Jay college of criminal justice. I live in queens but I'm always travelling to Manhattan :) my first job was working in an elementary school as a student assistant to teachers. I then moved up to becoming an after school teacher and summer camp counselor. This was my job for about 6 years. I was able to interact with kids from ages 5-16 and it gave me such an understanding of how admiring these kids are when it comes to being in an environment they truly love at school and their friends. I love working with kids and getting to know then and help them with school assignments. Once I graduated high school I decided to try something new and go into retail, which allowed my communication and socialization skills to grow. Right now I am a medical secretary in Cornell hospital in nyc. However apart from this job I would love to have more experience elsewhere as well. I have always had a passion working with animals since I was small. The problem being however I couldn't pursue becoming a veterinarian due to the fact unfortunately science isn't my best subject. However raising my dog for 8 years and taking care of my family members pets as well has been such an amazing experience for me on the side that I would love to continue. I know these little creatures could be a handful but I promise I'm able to handle them and give them so much love and affection.
