I used to walk dogs at my local dog shelter. I would take them for walks in the neighborhood and in the park, being sure to be mindful of other dogs and humans within the environment. I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to greet dogs. In addition, I have a small Yorkshire terrier of my own, so I have experience with taking care of pets. I treat my Yorkie like he is my son. 
In the past, I have also walked dogs professionally and taken care of people’s dogs while they went away on vacation. I have provided in-home dog watching services, within someone else’s home. 
I love working with dogs because they are so affectionate and they are great communicators. I love to take a dog out and to see them enjoying themselves in the park or enjoying a nice play session with a stuffed toy. I love that dogs give unconditional love and that they are good at communicating even though they are not able to speak. I think I am good at working with dogs, because I am patient and I very calm.
