I believe the most important thing for pet-sitting is to make them feel safe and calm, however that may look for their individual needs. I grew up with several pets: turtles, a beta-fish, parakeets, cats, and dogs. Before moving to Ithaca, I would house-sit with 3 adorable dog siblings named Daisy, Stewie, and Pearl. These cuties had different needs; Stewie took several medications each day, and Pearl is still a young puppy who needs a maintained schedule. I love dogs and cats, and I am happy to take them on adventure walks, or just keep them company while their person is away.
