I had grown up with pets of my own, including a family puppy named Sparkles (fun fact: my parents allowed me to name her when I was 6 years old!), as well as spending a lot of time with pets of friends and family. Fast forward, Sparkles lived a long, beautiful life (sixteen years with us!), and in September of 2021, we welcomed our beloved dog, Trainer. He's a red "Mini" Golden Retriever (the first photo of him is from the minute we got him). From day one, I cared for him full-time. Lots of training, playtime, walks, baths, and time spent running around with the neighborhood dogs.

Besides dogs, I have experience caring for fish, kittens/cats, bunnies, bearded dragons, Guinea pigs, baby ducklings, and chicks. When I was a child, my grandfather owned a horse.
