Hi! I’m Michelle and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I’ve taken care of pets since I was 8 years old. Throughout my childhood I have raised a variety of pets ranging from reptiles, to fish, to hamsters and I also grew up surrounded by family member’s dogs! In high school, I volunteered as a dog walker at Sean Casey Animal Rescue and socialized/walked dogs during my free time. I also had the greatest time working at a Doggy Daycare Center in Sunset Park caring after dogs from a variety of breeds and ages! I had my own dog when I was 8 years old and she was my best friend, raising her when she was just a puppy up until 12 years old. I learned the most about unconditional love and companionship from her and it was the best moments in my life raising her.

Currently, I live in a private home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn with my parents who also have experience with dogs! We have a large backyard that is fully fenced and we also live 5 minutes away from Seth Low Park. We also live driving distance from a dog park (Dyker Heights), so with permission I would love to take your dog there as well! I can assure you that your pet will receive all the cuddles and care they need with me. I’ve looked after dogs of family members and friends and I will always send them pictures and videos to update them throughout the day — so I can assure you I will do the same for you! I have more experience with smaller dogs than medium-sized dogs but I have handled dogs ranging from both sizes before.

Your dog will also have the freedom to roam around my house unless you specify you prefer them to be caged (please provide cage). I try to adhere to your/the dogs typical schedule so walks will be provided either every 3-4 hours or when specified. This also applies for feedings (please also provide food). I have experience with oral medication (because I had a senior dog) but please let me know what medications your dog requires so I can let you know if that’s something I can administer!

I’m currently a graduate student on summer break. My schedule o right now is really flexible and I am currently not employed to another job so I have lots of time to look after your pet! There is usually always someone in the house so your pet will never be alone and will definitely receive lots of attention! I will be available for walks every 3-4 hours
