Hi sir/madam,

I am currently a college freshmen student. During the summer of my high school years, I was a dog foster parent. I welcomed senior dogs with health issues into my home in order to care for them. During the summer of sophomore year, I fostered a Plott Hound mix named Onyx and during the summer of junior year, a mixed breed named Pugslee. Onyx had a kennel cough and Pugslee suffered with arthritis and had difficulty in doing physical activity. Fostering dogs helped me learn compassion and how to care for the less fortunate. I had heard recently that they are now in good hands. Onyx is in another foster home and Pugslee has recently been adopted.
