I have had a pet most of my life. I have never professionally done any pet sitting however, I would say that I have a lot of experience in handling pets. When I adopted my dog, I learnt that his past owner's were not good to him, leading him at first to be very timid to the point I thought he was mute, but I put in a lot of time to make sure he knows he is safe- finally he opened up. Slowly, also realizing that he is a slightly reactive dog, I then later spend 5 years watching countless training videos to make sure that my dog gets to enjoy things and go to walks and parks with me. During this rollercoaster of a ride with my dog I will say I have gained a lot of experience, and learnt a lot about dogs. I also have lived with my roommate's cats- cats who did not like each other that much and fought quite often. I have taken care of them time and time again, as well as taking care of other dogs that my family members have. I recently moved to New York, and unfortunately I could not bring any of my pets with me, and I am hoping to get some furry love in through this job. I would categorize myself as a very pet loving person as well as very patient in case there is any need for training. I love going on walks and would love to take your pets, or just staying in with them making sure they're looked after.
