My parents gifted me with many various animals growing up. I've been the lucky owner to tortoises, dogs, cats, fish, lizards, snakes, spiders, ferrets, hamsters. And living in the rural part of Minden, many of my neighbors own livestock. I've had the opportunity the past 10+ to petsit for emus, ducks, and horses. My extensive life experience with animals is a qualification in itself!
