My natural love for animals is something that I have been exploring for a long time. During this Past summer I was given an Amazing opportunity to internship for the summer at a veterinarian Office in West Babylon Ny During my five months Job shadowing I was able to successfully complete all the duties that were asked of me I understand that animals require special care and this can only be provided if the caretaker has sufficient knowledge of the nature of animal she is taking care of. I am proficient in understanding most requirements for nutrition, behavior and related safety precautions. In addition, I am committed to provide the best possible environment that an animal deserves. While shadowing I constantly got complimented on how well I worked and interacted with the animals an how I was able to complete all tasks that were asked of me. I have experience with small and big dogs I can provide references from my former employer if needed some of my experience with pet sitting include
Walk, Feed and give medication to dogs, bathed and groomed dogs.
Provided overnight sitting for dogs.
Provided entertainment for dogs such as playing fetch.
Practiced basic commands with dogs (walking in leash, stay, sit, wait, roll, fetch.) Cleaned the house and the bed of the dogs.
Gave information to owners about health of dogs, feeding and overall happiness.
