I have had cats my whole life growing up and I think personally they are the best pet anyone can ask for. When I met my husband we took care of a tabby cat for 13 years and adopted another tabby who lived for 13 years as well. We also took in a cat he found in Newark on a job site in the middle of winter who was estimated to be 7 months and found out she was pregnant. She delivered 5 kittens right before COVID and I went from one cat to 7!! Found a home for 3 kittens and kept the mother and two of her children. It has been a long road and we barely traveled anywhere till we got married and had to have someone to stay at house to take care of cats. I get the struggle of not feeling comfortable not being able to leave your pets over night and also struggled with a cat who needed insulin shots every 12hours. I feel your pain and would love to help anyone who has struggled as much as I have in these past several years given it is not out of my way, close to home, and not an over night sitting. I am pretty good at feeding, cleaning bowls, water containers, litter boxes, and even giving pets some company.
