My experience includes 25 years of caring for and interacting with family, friends, and client pets. These include breeds such as golden retrievers, standard poodles, and wild and rescue cats. I am willing to work with ANY cat. While each of my two family standard poodles and rescue cat are wonderful companions with adaptable personalities, they have their own set of challenges. Please note, I grew up with these animals who live in my parent's home and not with me. But, I do see them often. :)

Zombo, the youngest of the bunch is super sweet and affectionate but territorial. He has no issue standing up for himself and those he loves in a heartbeat when need be. In March of 2022, he had an emergency bloat surgery performed. Bloat is when a dog's stomach turns upside down cutting off the intestines not allowing any vomit or poop to pass. It traps gas and is extremely painful. His surgery was a success bringing him back to his normal goofy self!

His biological sister, Sunnie is the sweetest girl. She loves attention from humans and gets along with other dogs. She sometimes needs her space and will let you know when too much is just too much. In 2022, she was diagnosed with Addison's disease and has been prescribed long-term medication. I understand the utmost importance and effort needed to provide top care and have steady insurance coverage.

My cat, Daisy who is the eldest of the clan came from a local shelter. While she is friendly and loves attention from time to time, she can also be skittish and avoids noise. When she was a kitten, she was diagnosed with FHV which is typical for rescues to contract. We control this by providing her with certain foods containing specific ingredients.

Over the years, family and friends have trusted me to watch their family pets and I enjoy doing so. It's always nice seeing different faces and enjoying their company. The most unconditional love and trust come from animals. Who could ask for more?! Who doesn’t want to come home to loving innocent faces?! What a job for me!
