I'm a 29 year-old part-time nursing student. I live in Herndon, VA, but grew up in New Jersey. I love animals, and I always have. I've grown up with dogs (first a Golden Retriever/Lab mix for 14 years, and now a Lhasa Apso & Shih Tzu), and both of my parents were raised with dogs as well. I think animals are such an integral part of a household- they add so much to a family, as anyone who has a pet will tell you. Though I've been raised with dogs, I love many other animals as well. Cats are sweet in their own way, and fish can bring something to a house, too. We had a big fish tank in our house for many years while I was growing up.
