I grew up caring for small animals with my mother , whom I assisted in raising and releasing baby birds. We had an beautiful parrot from Australia, Kumar was an electus , bright green with florescent orange and bright red feather tucked under his wings and woven throughout his tail. He was our family dog, I learned how to train and care for him just like you woukd a puppy! Although there were some differences, our parrot could talk, and we could take him for walks, but we did let his wings grow out occasionally so he could fly throughout the house. Later on in life I bought a home near lake of the ozarks in missouri , where I accepted a new member of the family, Katie, a Rhodesian Ridge-Back Malamute mix! The next year we got our daughter a Weimaraner for Christmas, and our family was complete! During that time I cared for over 13 of the neighborhood dogs in Fristoe Missouri as a local sitter. Of course throughout my childhood and my 19 years of mother hood I have kept and raised 4 cats and pet sat for many more. I am currently the proud owner of Two adorable furr balls , and an awesome aquarium with two dwarf frogs, and I walk dogs and pet sit occasionally.
