My name is Eileen and I saw your posting for the pet sitter job. I am a very young 65 year old with lot's of energy. I love animals and have had many different kinds of pets in my life. I only have one cat now. I just had to find a good home for my chickens because I was going to be moving but it didn't work out so I will be staying put in my home for now.
I had a pet sitting business for about seven years in Maine that I absolutely loved doing and I pet sat cats, dogs, goats, lizards and many small pets. I had first had worked with a friend and when she retired I had taken over the business myself. My business was named The Petsitter and I did very well. I gave it up in 2000 to attend college full time for Social Work. I earned a BSW in Social Work in 2006.
I now just pet sit for my daughter's pets and she lives next door to me. Her house has a menagerie of pets. I helped her this summer care for 6 foster kittens that was so much fun and rewarding.
I would love the opportunity to work for you and help care for your lovely Springer Spaniel. I have a lot of patience with animals and a lot of energy to walk dogs. I hope have the opportunity to meet you and your dog sometime soon.
