I am a former Kindergarden teacher and am currently taking the year off due to surgery I had in September. I have been clearance to return to work and I had planned on taking substitute positions a few days a week. I came across this job and I had to take a step back and read it agaiin.
I owned a Black Lab for 15 years and after her passing I was constantly looking for any opportunity to babysit friends dogs even if it were for a few hours. I had considered taking a few dogs into my home since many of my teacher friends are "dog moms and dads". This job sounds ideal since my schedule is so flexible and I absolutely love dogs(especially crazy Labs).
Although I have no training or certifications I consider myself great with dogs. I am very outdoorsy and have a tough time just sitting around. I walk any where from 2-3 miles a day so exercising isn't an issue for me.
