Recently, I lost my 7 year old boxer Laila to cancer and it has been the hardest thing to comprehend. I always like to say that she was more than a dog to me, she was my closest companion and I appreciate every minute I had with her. Because I have such a passion for animals (cats and dogs specifically), I want to be able to put that energy towards helping others with their pets. Growing up, we’ve always had an array of animals. I’ve looked after countless liters of puppies and kittens, fed horses, cows, and pigs, and saved many frogs and lizards from window wells. I believe every animal that is placed in our lives has a purpose, you just have to be willing to see it for yourself.
