Hi! I am a soon to be separated 35 year old woman. I work from home so it allows me the ability to be there for my aging animals when they most need it. I currently have two cats, a 14 year old black lab, and a 13 year old Shepherd Husky mutt. I have been through it all from the puppy stages to the elderly issues that animals face. I had a 14 year old lab that unfortunately isn't with me anymore, but she was blind for 7 years (among other issues later on), so I am familiar with having to give eye drops among other oral medications. My current 14 year old lab has severe arthritis and separation anxiety, so I tend to never leave the house for very long periods of time, or I take the pups with me when able. I don't have kids, so my animals have been my children and I absolutely treat them as such and love to spoil them. I try my best to give them daily walks since their playtime has been limited these last few years due to age/health. Aside from looking for a way to bring in some extra income each month, I am really just looking to get into pet sitting because I know how hard it is to find someone that you trust with your animals and to treat them the way you do at home. I think I am a good fit since I am home most of the time and I will be going through a life change that will leave me a bit more lonely than I am used to, so what better way to cure that than with the love of more animals?? Although I haven't been an official pet sitter before, you can ask my friends that I have pet sit for in the past and they will tell you just how much I do and sacrifice to make sure my animals are loved and well taken care of. I can provide as many updates and pictures as you would like if you are like me and stress about being away from your animals, just to help ease your mind a bit. I also have a big fenced in backyard so there is plenty of room to run and play. For the most part, I am pretty flexible on my availability as well.
