I have worked for numerous pet owners from here in my county of Vance up to 2 hours away since the Summer of 2016. The pets have included cats, various size dogs up to 110 pounds including 1 that had been abused but responded well to me, as well as feeding goats on a goat farm, including little ones that had to be bottle-fed, pot-bellied pigs, horses, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hedgehog, lizards, & fish tanks. I'm experienced with giving oral medications. I have cared for many pets at one time. I can do check-ins/visits or overnight care locally, or can stay full-time when the job is 45 minutes or more away, also watering plants, bringing in mail, etc. I'm a mature, retired (early from a local phone company), responsible, non-smoking female, with reliable transportation that truly loves animals, has much patience with them, & love what I do. I have had pets my entire life & my husband and I have several, both cats and dogs. We have also had a pair of rabbits & a bird in the past. In the 80's, through being a member of the local Humane Society, I did volunteer work at the local animal shelter on weekends when they are not otherwise open to allow more chances for adoption. I can provide excellent references and my rates are very reasonable.
