Hi, my name is Jessie! I am a Veterinary Technician at an animal hospital in Cary. I graduated from the Veterinary Medical Technology Program at Central Carolina Community College in May 2018, where I earned my Associates in Applied Science. I have been a Veterinary Technician for the last 2 years and a dog sitter for at least 8 years. I currently reside in downtown Fuquay with my 3 dogs and 1 cat, Indi, Grizzly, Rooster, and Phoenix. Our backyard is completely fenced in, which allows plenty of room to run around. I am also close by to parks and downtown, which allows for one-on-one walks. My background in veterinary medicine has allowed me to gain the knowledge and experience to work with animals of different temperaments, health, and age. I am comfortable administering oral, topical, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications. I am also comfortable performing blood glucose tests, nail trims, and baths. I also have experience with anxious dogs and puppies and a few tips/tricks up my sleeve. I love to send cute pictures to owners of their pets to help ease any anxiety owners have while being away.
