I have been a dog owner since I was 8 years old. I currently take care of my 8-year-old Pomeranian and my 11-year-old Australian Shepherd. I have taken care of pets that belonged to my friends while they were out of town many times. When I walk dogs in the summer, I always choose the coolest part of the day and carry water and a first aid kit. I can play outside in the heat with dogs as well as snuggle up with them where they please. I always listen to what the dog(s) want to do.
