Hello,
I would love to help care for your pet(s) while you need to be away. I have been providing occasional pet care and pet sitting services since I was a kid. Throughout my 20's I grew my experience with increased responsibilities and complexity of client's needs. I enjoy providing animals with company, attention, and exercise in addition to their feeding, bathroom, and medication needs.
My experience has included caring for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, rats, rabbits, and geckos throughout the United States and in Mexico. I have not had much experience with reptiles or amphibians, but would love to learn more! I have pet and house sat for over a month at a time and feel comfortable with both short and long term sitting.
I feel most comfortable with meeting you and your pet(s) before you leave to ensure a good fit and get thorough instructions. However, I have pet sat last minute multiple times when a meet-up was not feasible and did well with phone and/or written instructions. Knowing emergency contact info is always reassuring too (the pets' primary vet, an emergency vet, and best way to contact you while you're out).
