I am a pet and an overall animal lover. In high school, I was responsible for a small Yorkie and after college, I was tasked with giving care to an elderly poodle while her owners were deployed overseas. Her sight and vision were not very great, so, I had to adjust her feedings and walks accordingly. We went on walks every evening and I often had to make sure there was a pad down in case she couldn't make it outside. She was happy and healthy when her dog-mom got home. I worked with a non-profit that had a small animal exhibit of donated pets from the state that included hamsters, geckos, bearded dragons, and sugar gliders so I am well equipped to handle many pet challenges.
