Since I was a kid I have always had pets. For the most part I grew up with cats and for a while we had dogs. As an adults I have lived with both cats and dogs and adore them both.

Many of my friends have pets and we trade off their care as needed, which often means that I have the honor and pleasure of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats of all shapes. There is even an occasional snake!

Pet sitting for me is an opportunity to care for a pet while their family is away. It is a chance to feel like an aunt of sorts - I get to love on them, keep them company, take care of them, but then go home. For me right now, it's kind of the best case scenario.
