My favorite form of personal exercise is walking, and bringing along a vibrant companion who can't wait to get out and moving turns the walk into something fun and sometimes even an adventure. I also like to bring them to places where that kind of energy and ability to express themselves freely and interact with other dogs (if they and you agree that is safe for them) as well by visiting nearby dog parks or throwing around a ball or toy. I always talk calmly and help redirect a dog's attention when they feel those inevitable bursts of wanting to pursue some new and exciting distraction. I'd spend the time with your dog being as interactive with them as possible. If you are working on training them or teaching them tricks, I'd be happy to gingerly assist and rely on positive reinforcement giving them cuddles, (treats if allowed :p ) get them playing with their toys, and ultimately making them feel as loved and important as they are should feel. As an individual, I’m communicative, reliable, creative, energetic, and passionate. I understand it can be nerve-wracking to introduce a stranger care for an important member of your family.
