I’ve been working in vet med for almost 2 years now and love caring for animals. I usually work as a kennel technician which includes medicating (oral medicine and injections such as insulin), walking, feeding, and cleaning up after pets. Other times I work as a technician assistant where I take appointments and help the doctor with exams and giving vaccines. I can bathe pets and brush pets, but I have no experience with grooming such as cutting or shaving hair unless it’s shaving out matting.
