I have experience with mostly staying in owners home to take care of pets, especially as I do work from home so it allows me to give more attention to the pets I am watching, however I have also done the occasional drop in & let outside visits as well. I have given meds before to some pets I’ve sat across both cats and dogs. All of my close friends and family have pets and it’s one of my favorite parts about visiting them. I do like to meet with owners and pets before I am needed to go over details but also to help both get to meet me and become more comfortable before I am watching or staying with them.
