At my current job I start with my daily tasks of getting all the pet's food ready and prepping all the medicine for the pets that need it. I have also administrated insulin on dogs and cats. After feeding and giving out meditation, I walk the dogs. I fix the rooms and clean any accidents as I go. I also check on the cats and their litter. Afterward, I do laundry, dishes, playtimes, and sometimes when parents ask take pictures of the pet. I have also worked day camp and customer service at Kennelwood. I have mostly taken care of dogs and cats at Kennelwood, but we have gotten the occasional rabbit, guinea pig, and hamster. I have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities.
Before working at my current job I went to regular high school and then my last 2 years of high-school I got accepted into a school called South Technical High-school. From there I went into a veterinary assistant program. I graduated with my diploma and my CVA certification (Certified Vet assistant). I have now been working for a boarding facility called Kennelwood for the past 3 years. I have gained alot of experience in and out of high-school and a wide range of knowledge. I also was a intern for the APA (Animal Protection Association) for about 2-3 years during and after high-school.
