I have loved working with and being around pets and animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had a dog in the house I grew up in, but my neighbors have always had other animals including cats, chickens, ducks, reptiles, etc.
I have always been the go-to pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family. I have also worked in the kennel/boarding/daycare business for about a year and a half.
At my current job, I am responsible for many different things such as;
- letting out dogs in the morning/afternoon/evening
- cleaning out kennels
- play sessions that can include up to 9 dogs usually
- preparing food
- cleaning potty areas, kitchen, lounge area, and lobby
- checking dogs in and out
