I have helped care and pet sit for neighbors, family friends, and my own friends pets since middle school. I have cared for both dogs and cats, and every experience has been wonderful! I love interacting and caring for furry friends, especially when it includes taking them for walks (mainly dogs). My responsibilities have been taking them for walks, feeding, moderate help in bathing, and helping to give them medication if they have it. I can put various types of collars on dogs, and have been taught in the past how to handle various scenarios such as walking dogs on hot days, how to handle encounters with other dogs and helping to minimize triggers for high-predator dogs. I am always careful, loving, and patient when caring for animals, making sure to get on their level and offer out my hand for them to smell before trying to touch them. I know not all animals are super friend and try not to frighten or upset them. I current own two cats, but have more experience caring for dogs on a walker/sitter basis.
