I'm a huge animal lover! I spent most of my professional life working in a very stressful corporate job. In 2012, I made the decision to pursue my true passion and to devote my time to caring for dogs and cats. I've been pet sitting independently since the beginning of 2012 as well as doing some care jobs through a professional pet sitting company since August of 2012. I care for both dogs and cats.

I had 2 Siberian Huskies for 13+ years, so I'm very experienced in all aspects of dog care (both dogs have passed, so I don't currently have any pets). In terms of paid experience, I provided regular care (feeding, watering, letting out, walking) to an elderly Lab mix several evenings a week from January 2012 to February 2013 (he passed away). I've also taken care of 3 cats (feeding, watering, litter box cleaning) multiple times a week since January of 2012. I walked a Lab 5 days a week while her owners were at work. I walked an English Setter mix 5 days a week while his owner was at work. I also cared for a Cavalier-Poodle mix (letting out, walking) while his owner was at work. I've also done vacation sits for dogs and cats (in my home or the pet owner's home). I had a Chihuahua and a Lab mix board at my home for several days, an elderly Poodle boarded with me twice, the Lab I walked Monday through Friday stayed with me twice, and a Golden Retriever stayed with me multiple times while her owners were away. I also provided overnight care in the pet owner's home for a Bluetick Coonhound and a Pitbull twice.
