Hi there! My name is Kaylee and I am a 24 year old working within the school system seeking out summer and weekend work for families in my area. During the school year I am a full time 1 on 1 reading tutor in Stockbridge Michigan through a non profit reading program. I have been working for the Michigan school system for two years now as a sub and tutor. I grew up in Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University, gaining a BA of the Arts in English. I am an avid pet lover, and have two of my own. I have a Bearded Dragon named Leonard and a Maine Coon cat names Big Mama. I grew up in a rural area of Ohio where I had the opportunity to have many animals and learn how to care for them. I have had 6 dogs in my lifetime from small to large sizes. I have experience with maintaining fish tanks, as I had freshwater and salt water tanks while growing up. I have experience caring for farm animals, specifically sheep and chickens. I also have experience with more exotic mammals such as chinchillas, ferrets, and flying squirrels. I am well versed in caring for cats, dogs, and reptiles the most. I also have owned rabbits in the past, but they are not preferred as I am allergic. I have a sister who is studying to be a Veterinarian and works for a clinic in Cincinnati that I always have on speed dial for questions or concerns about animals in my care. I have cared for family, friends, and neighbors animals in the past, mostly consisting of dogs, cats , and ferrets.
