I have been training dog for 40 years. I understand nutrition, pet needs and behaviors. I am a positive trainer, so I use treats as rewards to get the behaviors I desire. I know how to properly greet a dog, and to gain trust. I am also an AKC evaluator, I do CGC, Puppy and dog manners, trick title verification for AKC and Do More with Your Dogs. I am a Canine Conditioning coach thru AKC and DMWYD. And have completed course on temperament testing. I train agility, frisbee, dog dance, tracking, scent work, tricks. I also live by the rule of Operant and Classical condition, learning thru environment and positive rewards. I am great at training pups to avoid distractions, to be confident and balance pups. I work with resource guarding and fear based reactivity. I specialize in herding breed, but I am good with all breed. Taking into account the genetics that makes up their breed. Use to have my own dog grooming salon in the 90's. Also experienced with cats, birds, reptiles, farm animals including horses and exotic pets.
