I've been working with dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've always had animals in the house, and when I was younger I showed my grandma's dog at the fair and then showed my own later on. I'm skilled in basic obedience/agility training, and think it's important for animals to understand commands. I currently own a cat named Goober, and he's been with me for 6 months. I regularly clip his nails, and clean his ears/paws, and when it's nice out he enjoys hanging outside with me on his harness and leash. Along with Goober, my roommate has a cat and I often look after her as well. We have 3 litter boxes for them which get cleaned daily, and I don't mind picking up around the boxes. I've dog-sat for my grandma, as well as my parents, and before my cat, I regularly watched my cousins while she was away. When I trained dogs, I also learned the correct way to bathe them so I often give my parents dogs their baths. I don't have a bunch of experience with big dogs, but I'm not scared of any breeds and am always willing to give an animal a chance.
