Hi there! I'm a semi-employed librarian and singer who petsits on the side. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats, and have had pets since childhood. On a professional basis, I've cared for cats, dogs, and an iguana. I unfortunately don't have experience with birds or fish, but am open to caring for them if you're willing to give me some guidance.

I'm responsible, reliable, mature, friendly, have a car, and live in old Greenbelt. Besides a warm smile and a positive attitude, I have a knack for animal magnetism. It's rare to meet a critter that doesn't quickly warm up to me. (Even mosquitoes, sigh.) My current "fur-kid" is a handsome, eight year old, grey and white male tabby named Shadow.

My mission as a petsitter is to take exceptionally good care of your own "fur-kids", freeing you up to enjoy that vacation you've worked so hard for; or to focus on that unexpected family emergency; or to tackle that insane work deadline. I will take them for walks, ensure they've got plenty of fresh water and food, play with them, and love them up. (Belly rubs! Ear scratches! Gentle petting!) Heck, I may even sing to them, since I tend to do plenty of that anyway. I'll gladly text you daily reports on our activities, and even include a photo or photos for additional reassurance. If you hire me for a check-in, I'm fine with watering plants or bringing in newspapers or mail as part of my visit.
