I  worked as a vet assistant at the Boston Cat Hospital, located in Jamaica Plain. My primary duties included: feeding, cleaning cages, monitoring feline behavior and restraining cats for veterinarians as needed. I was also taught how to administer different types of medications
I love all types of animals but am more of a cat person and have one of my own, she is a 2 year old tortie. I feel like I would be able to care for other cats and have some basic experience with birds and turtles from when I volunteered at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum. Duties at the museum included feeding them and cleaning their cages.
I can speak fluent Spanish and have visited Guatemala many times, where I am surrounded by many types of animals such as cows, horses, ducks and chickens I am an animal lover at heart and am very caring and compassionate towards them.
